When Malonda Destin walked into STEMpower's STEM Center at Institut International Polytechnique et Commerce 2i, he had never worked with electronic components before. But as he connected resistors, transistors, and Arduino, something sparked, a passion for innovation.

He took part in an advanced electronics training, where he explored the fundamentals of circuitry and applied his new skills to a real-world challenge, building and setting up an incubator using components from the STEM electronics lab.

“I was really excited to discover all the things you can do with simple components. It’s fascinating to see how they interact to create real projects, from circuits to complex systems,” he shared.

By the end of the training, Malonda and his peers had successfully turned theory into practice, proving that hands-on learning is the key to innovation. This is what STEMpower is all about, unlocking potential, hands-on learning, and transforming ideas into reality.
